Wheatland Bank seeks an upbeat and energetic individual with outstanding customer service skills to work on a part-time basis in our Odessa branch, approximately 17 hours per week. Must be flexible to work additional hours as needed to assist with branch coverage. Will perform a variety of teller services such as greeting customers, processing deposits and withdrawals, customer account maintenance, and cross selling bank products and services. Previous cash handling and customer service experience desired.
Well organized and detail oriented individual will support and work closely with loan officers and credit analysts and interface with customers to provide assistance in the preparation of loan documents, disbursement of loan advances, loan servicing, and organization and maintenance of electronic loan files. Qualified applicants will be attentive to customers' and loan officers' loan processing needs, be well organized, detail-oriented, accurate, efficient and able to multi-task in a customer-oriented environment. Must be proficient at Word and Excel and be able to work with loan databases. Previous experience in a lending environment preferred.
Opportunities available in the Spokane and Pasco areas. Will be a proactive, contributing member of the mortgage lending team, who is responsible for successfully managing all aspects of residential loan customer relationships. This includes generating leads, communicating with the borrower, collecting and analyzing financial data, determining the best rate and program for the borrower's needs, and maintaining availability to answer borrower's questions. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years mortgage loan origination, knowledge of the underwriting process, ability to analyze financials, proficiency with lending compliance standards and regulations associated with mortgage lending, and excellent customer service skills. Must be self-driven, ambitious, analytical, and goal oriented. Will have a strong work ethic, with excellent time management, sales, underwriting, leadership, and communication skills. Will possess computer proficiency using Excel and Word and be able to effectively supervise lending department personnel.
